  1. Thank you for your video! Very informative! My version of skin cycling is very specific and consistent at this point.

    Daily AM-
I emulsify leftover products from the night before on my face with water and then use ELF holy hydration cleanser to cleanse. While slightly damp I apply Timeless vitamin c 20% serum. The ordinary natural moisturizing factors plus HA lotion (for extra brightening or antioxidant support, I add the ordinary Resveratrol ferulic serum into my moisturizer for the day). DRMTLGY universal matte SPF.

    PM, cycling-
Double cleanse using DHC cleansing oil and La Roche Posay daily hydrating cleanser every day to cleanse off SPF.
**M-F layering: The Ordinary multi peptide HA serum, (optional NIOD modulating glucosides for sensitive nights), 0.05% tretinoin, CeraVe moisturizing cream.
** Sat-Sun layering: NIOD copper amino isolate serum, The Ordinary multi peptide HA serum, (optional NIOD modulating glucosides for sensitive nights), IUNIK beta glucan power moisture serum, CeraVe moisturizing cream, occlusive layer (based on skin I choose between jojoba oil, La Roche Posay cicaplast B5 baume, or squalane oil).

To encourage healthy texture and even active penetration, every other Saturday, I switch my second cleanser out with The Inkey List salicylic acid 2% cleanser, of which I let sit on my face for 2-3 minutes.

This routine has been my skin’s sweet spot. And I love my results. I have enjoyed learning my skin through tailoring my routine. Thank you again for helping to educate people on how to properly handle our skin as non medical enthusiasts! Much love and blessings to you!

  2. I use a bespoke tretanoin based cream (0.006% tret and 4% azelaic acid) every other night (night 1,3 and 5). On day 2 and 4 I use a glycolic acid toner and 2 days at the weekend I let my skin heal and dont use actives

  3. Hii!!! Could you make a video about layering skincare products?
I’m curious about what the science actually says regarding multiple layers of skincare. How many layers would you consider ideal, and at what point do you think it becomes excessive or counterproductive?
Do ingredients from later layers still get absorbed, or is there a limit to how much the skin can realistically take in?
I’d love to hear your evidence-based perspective on this, since there seems to be a lot of conflicting advice online.

  4. I use tretinoin 5 days a week, do an AHA/BHA exfoliation day once a week, and have one slugging recovery day with lots of hydration. 😊
